"Online Services of Public Service Broadcasters in the Dual Broadcasting System" on the 11th November 2003 in Cologne

On the 11th November 2003 a conference took place in the rooms of the University of Cologne, organized by the Institute for Broadcasting Economics. The topic was: "Online Services of Public Service Broadcasters in the Dual Broadcasting System"

The eligibility of Public Service Broadcasters Online Services was discussed from a competition-therory based perspective. Moreover there were debates about the profitability of Online Services of Public Service Broadcasters and about appropriate forms of financing. There were about 100 participants from different fields as politics, economy and economy of media.
The presentations are already published in the series of working papers of the Institute for Broadcasting Economics both in print and in PDF files. Conference proceedings are not published in a book, because of the large number of publications and future publications about this topic and because of the ongoing developements.
